MoonCow Tabs features

Everything on the landing page, explained — how MoonCow Tabs helps you find and switch open browser tabs on your Mac without the hunt.

Quick Access

Open MoonCow Tabs from anywhere with a global keyboard shortcut you choose. Select a tab with the mouse or arrow keys, then press Return — no need to click through browser windows first.

Search

Type a few letters to find any open tab by title or URL. Safari and Chrome tabs appear in one list, so you search once instead of checking each browser separately.

Filter

Narrow the list when you have dozens of tabs open:

Activate

Press Return or click a row to bring that tab forward in its browser — Safari or Chrome. MoonCow Tabs focuses the right window and tab in one step.

Safari and Chrome together

MoonCow Tabs is built for Mac users who work across both browsers. Safari connects through Apple’s extension system; Chrome uses the separate MoonCow Tabs for Chrome extension in each profile you use.

Keyboard-first

Designed for speed: arrow keys to move, Return to switch, Esc to dismiss. Power users can stay on the keyboard from shortcut to tab switch without reaching for the mouse.

Privacy by design

Tab titles and URLs stay on your Mac. No account required. Optional analytics and crash reporting are off by default and never include browsing content. See app privacy and Chrome extension privacy.

Free to try, Pro when you’re ready

The free tier includes 10 tab switches per day — enough to see if MoonCow Tabs fits your workflow. On the first three days you hit the limit, switching stays unlimited until tomorrow. A one-time Pro upgrade removes the daily cap permanently.
