MoonCow Tabs Mobile features
MoonCow Tabs Mobile is a Safari extension for iPhone and iPad. It opens inside Safari and works on the tabs in your current tab group.
Search
Type to find a tab by title, site name, or web address. While you search, the list switches to individual tabs so matches are easy to scan, and the count shows how many tabs match out of the whole group.
Group by title or by site
Two views:
- By title — every tab in one alphabetical list
- By site — tabs grouped under their domain, with one site open at a time
Site groups can be sorted A–Z, or with the sites that have the most tabs first.
Tags
Tags are useful words taken from the titles and addresses of your open tabs. Tap one to filter the list without typing the whole search.
Focus, close, and copy
Tap a row to show that tab in Safari. Close a single tab from the row, or touch and hold for more actions: show it in Safari, close the other tabs for that site, copy the title, or copy the URL. Closing a whole site, or every tab matching a search, asks for confirmation first. The tab you are focused on in Safari stays open.
Duplicate cleanup
When several tabs share the same address, MoonCow Tabs Mobile says how many extras it found. Cleanup keeps the newest tab for each address and closes the rest. The focused Safari tab is left alone.
Undo
The last 10 close operations stay on your device, with the titles and addresses needed to open those tabs again. Restore them if you change your mind.
Guided tour
A short tour inside the extension walks through search, grouping, tags, and closing. Open it from the help button any time you want a reminder.
On your device
Tab titles and addresses are read from Safari on that iPhone or iPad so the list can work. Nothing is sent to MoonCow Interactive. There is no account, and the extension does not include analytics or crash reporting. See app privacy.
Separate from the Mac app
MoonCow Tabs on Mac searches Safari and Chrome with a global shortcut. MoonCow Tabs Mobile is the iPhone and iPad app, and it only sees the current Safari tab group. Details for the Mac app are on MoonCow Tabs.
